Welcome to Choteau, Montana, in 2018. What was once only a small city focused on fossils, has now started to turn into an equestrian mecca. Everyone still knows everyone, so the question remains, what will you become? 
 | Though she'd returned fairly recently to the glorious town of Choteau, back from a brief trip back home to help out, things had changed. For the better, she thought. And now that she had Foxtail Meadow Farm, and a partner-in-crime (and in business, for that matter), and her horses were settling in, and a bunch of other motivations like that, she figured she could combine a couple of things - slaking her curiosity, gaining some clients (if perhaps not a payday), get to know some of the other locals and last but not least sneak a peek at the rescue animals. She had a bit of a knack for getting horses with problems back on track, so far at least, so it was always worth checking out. Hell, it'd been how she'd gotten Ike, and in a way also how she'd gotten her mule, and while the latter hadn't amounted to much yet, the former jumped in the highest classes. That had been a very good deal indeed. Besides, with only four horses at the moments the soon-to-be-permanent pastures seemed fairly empty still, and she wouldn't mind some more livestock around. It did give off somewhat more of a lively vibe, even if it may not be very handy near the vet clinic. That was on the other side of their 'private' barn though. Surely it'd work out. Regardless, she'd left Nella in the bed of the pick-up, had made sure not to wear She had taken a look at the website before she'd gone in person, and had seen some interesting animals, though she doubted her wallet would support her bringing them all back. Some of them might work though, and that would have to do for now. Not all pretty faces needed to come home with her, after all. "Hey" she greeted the person behind the counter. "I'm here to look at a few animals? Also I'd like to offer my services, should y'all need a farrier," she offered, smile gentle as she waited for a reply, wondering if this was the boss or not. She hadn't been able to find much about who owned or ran the place. |
