Sovereign Gone and Done It "Callie" - 2yrs - Shetland Sheepdog - Female
Callie is a lovely dog. She's smart and biddable with plenty of natural herding instinct. However, she likes her own space and would rather sleep on the floor than in the bed. When she's tired, she doesn't want to be touched and will snap at anyone who bothers her. She has a great herding style and already is proving herself to be champion stockdog material.
Embra - 4yrs - Border Collie - Female
Embra was rescued a year ago after being surrendered due to destructive behavior. In truth, she was just bored and needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation. She also has a very strong herding drive. Everything needs to be herded no matter what it looks like. The morning routine consists of her herding everyone, human and canine, into the kitchen for breakfast. The ATV is an especially tough herding job along with cars. She was a natural at herding goats even if she doesn't always herd them to the right place or at times when they don't need to be herded. She also needs to run all day long to even pretend to be tired. Even after chasing the ATV for miles around the property, Embra still has more energy.
Glenwood Fresh Mountain Air "Jackpot" - 2yrs - Shetland Sheepdog - Male
Jackpot doesn't walk. He bounces. In the snow and long grass, he turns in a rabbit and jumps to move. And he has energy. Almost too much energy. While Jackpot has potential to be a good working dog, he struggles to focus and keep his energy at bay. There's definite intelligence in him with quick learning and a strong desire to please.
Merlin - 6yrs - Labrador Retriever - Male
Merlin is...special. He gets distracted by absolutely everything and goes through life without a care in the world and a big smile across his face. Everything is the most exciting thing ever whether it's the windshield wipers he can never quite catch or someone else's tennis ball. His recall is terrible, and don't expect him to stay still for long. But, he's a sweet and lovable dog and works his way into people's hearts. He belonged to Ivarr's family and basically came with the farm.
Desmond - 8mo - Pembroke Welsh Corgi - Male
In a word, Desmond is loud. He barks. Constantly. At everything. All the time. He's also painfully lazy and prone to obesity. He likes to lounge around all day and acts like a king on his pillow. When he waddles to the door, it's not because he's glad to see you. It's because the door is opening and you absolutely must know that you're opening the door. As a herding dog, he's dreadful. Desmond would much rather dig holes in the dirt than herd anything. That requires effort. And the less effort, the better.
