Welcome to Choteau, Montana, in 2018. What was once only a small city focused on fossils, has now started to turn into an equestrian mecca. Everyone still knows everyone, so the question remains, what will you become?

Steven was calmly standing in front of the Log Cabin. He was wearing a white slim fit shirt that hugged his body a bit. Over the shirt was a brown leather jacket placed. His dark blue jeans were finished off with some black shoes. Steven didn't look fancy or anything but he was a bit more dressed up than normally.
Steven calmly waited on Rylee to show up. It was warm enough to stay outside and he enjoyed the fresh air until he would walk inside. He was hoping there was still a table free but so far he knew the place there was always a free table. He calmly placed his hands into his pockets and looked towards the dark skies above him.
[attr="class","box2"]Fifteen minutes late wasn't too bad. She had to blow dry her hair so that it hung down in a wavy style. She wore a fitting black dress, topped with bright pink stiletto heels. A silver necklace graced her neck, with a pink charm attached to it. Pink was definitely her color. She climbed out of her truck, and headed towards Steven who was standing outside of the cafe.
"Sorry I'm late," she said. She wasn't sure if she was actually sorry or not, but that didn't matter. He knew her well enough to know she had to get ready. Shower included after the run she had just done. Especially since she had been against his sweaty body after his workout, too. Showers were necessary. She looked at him. He was quite handsome with clothes on as well. Of course, she knew that because of work. She had seen him in just about everything. Except naked or his underwear. But that wasn't on her to-do list. Or was it? She still had no idea if he considered this a date or not. She had dressed up for it as if it was, though. Just in case. "Shall we go in?" she asked.
Steven saw her climbing out of her truck. He was surprised he fully dressed up for this. He wasn't expecting her too though but he wasn't complaining about it. She looked good in it so what did he had to complain. Steven smiled at her when she apologized for being late. He pretty much expected it though since he was barely on time himself. She wasn't the only one who needed a shower and he had to walk home since he didn't bring his truck with him. Steven never really rode his truck around. He was mostly walking towards everywhere tonight was the exact same. He walked towards the bar and was planning to walk towards anything. "Don't worry about it."
Steven nodded towards her when she asked to go in. "of course, pretty people first." Steven said towards her while he opened up the door. Steven would calmly walk in after her while he looked around the place for one of the waiters to come towards them. He never really went to this place so he wasn't sure if they could just grab a table or had to wait to get seated. Steven never really was a dating person so this was all kind of weird for him.
[attr="class","box2"]Rylee smiled at him, happy that he didn't mind that she was late. She didn't really feel like she had dressed up, but because she was wearing a little black dress, it could look like it. Especially with the heels she was wearing. She didn't mind though. She was comfortable in what she was wearing. And as long as she was comfy, she was happy.
Rylee shook her head at his comment, but headed in through the door anyways. She stood waiting at the door to be seated. The hostess approached them, and asked how many. "Just us two, please," Rylee said. The hostess nodded and requested they followed her to a table. Rylee sat down at the table, and began to look over the menu. The waitress came over and asked them what they'd like to drink. "Vodka and cranberry juice for me, please," she ordered.
Steven calmly followed them towards the table where they were getting seated. It was funny how similar they were although also weren't they both were flirts and worked at the same ranch, came from another city. On the otherside there was something holding him back from. He didn't knew exactly what though. Maybe it was because he wasn't someone to go dating or maybe he didn't want to end the fun they were mostly having.
Steven looked over the menu wondering what to order when the waitress arrived. He heard she ordered. "One vodka pineapple please." He said with a small smile before he looked towards Rylee. "hhmmm what to eat." Steven said while he stroked with his index finger and thumb over his jawline while looking at the menu with a serious yet playful look. He really had no idea what to order. He hasn't really been eating healthy today so maybe something healthy or maybe go with something simple like a burger. "I think I am going for a chicken burger." He said. It was somewhere in the middle. It was a burger but a somewhat healthy burger.
[attr="class","box2"]Rylee wasn't sure what she wanted. Dating seemed too official. And she wasn't sure if she wanted a boyfriend at all. She didn't know if he could handle her independence. She was conflicted. Usually she knew exactly what she wanted, but this was different. She was sure she would figure things out. Especially seeing how this date would go. Was it a date? Or just two friends hanging out. She sure dressed up as if it were a date.
"Hmmm...I think I'm going to have nachos," she said. She wasn't about to hold back on what she ate just because she was out with a guy. And nachos were delicious. "What's on your mind?" she asked, out of curiosity.
