Welcome to Choteau, Montana, in 2018. What was once only a small city focused on fossils, has now started to turn into an equestrian mecca. Everyone still knows everyone, so the question remains, what will you become?

Buying a ranch was a big deal. And he had hardly anything to supply the farm. Eventually, he thought about getting cattle. But maybe goats would do for the moment. Or at least chickens. Definitely chickens. Mason got into his truck, and headed to the supply store, not exactly sure of everything he would need. He was kind of going on a whim, and just decided to buy whatever caught his eye. As long as it had to do with the farm. Maybe, he'd even find chicks at the store. Some stores sold them. He never knew which one was the right one. It wasn't like he had actually gone out and bought chickens before.
He hopped out of his truck, and walked into the store. He began to scour the aisles, looking for things he may need. Grain was definitely one of the items he would need. Something essential for his horse. That was another thing. He needed more horses at the farm. He only had the one so far, and Sunny was getting lonely. The gelding wasn't used to being on his own. Mason would have to send for a couple horses from back home.
Ivarr was focused once more on just -what- they needed for their own little ranch, and as it was he more focused on the list he'd got written of the extras that weren't on the normal order. After all he... had apparently at least.... become that much of a regular that his usual order was normally all prepared for him.
No no this was just the extras, at least for now anyway. There were chance for additions to become normal but not quite yet. So it was he was rather focused on his list and practically almost walked into the other person. He had also forgotten this wasn't quite the ranch with Kristian as he signed his apology.
At least Merlin made an attempt to be friendly, the chocolate lab padding over to sniff at Mason's pants leg tail wagging easily.

Mason was focused on getting everything that he wasn't paying attention to the man coming towards him. He was browsing a shelf that had feed buckets for his horse, and the horses he was bound to get eventually. As the man kind of ran into him, he kind of stepped back to catch himself. He watched as the man did something funny with his hands, but didn't recognize it as sign language. "Excuse me," he apologized, moving out of the way for the man.
Mason looked down at the dog, and smiled. He reached out his hand to pet the dog, but realized he should probably ask if it was okay, first. "Is he friendly?" he asked.
