An old pick up truck was driving through the street of Chateau. It was calmly driving without must haste. It would turn corners until it rode up towards a parking space in front of the Front Range Supply store. The door calmly opened and Steven stepped out of the car. He stretched himself out a bit before he started walking towards the store.
Steven nodded to the shop clerks he met on his way towards the back of the store so he could pick up some food and new equipment they ordered for the ranch. Steven was asked to pick them up so there he was. When he reached the back of the store he started with the heavy bags of food for the horses and calmly lifted them up while walking towards his truck. He placed them in the trunk.
After walking back and forth a couple of times Steven calmly took off his shirt revealing his athletic muscle built he was carrying with him. He went back inside and started carrying the other half of the bags followed by the the tools

Hey, at the ranch supplies store now, besides Ronin's hay and some leather soap anything else we need - Ivarr xxx
Ivarr had just pulled up in his own pick up, a checked flannel shirt over a slightly ripped t-shirt, jeans and calf boots, shoving his cell back in his pocket as he scanned the parking lot. It was very much an instinctive reaction, and while typically he didn't tend to go anywhere without Kristian - if only because Kristian could interpret sign language to English for him, and writing grew tiring, he'd had a message to say that the new saddle for Ronin had also arrived. Add that there was some treats he'd had held back for the past week It wasn't like he was a fan of making them hold the supplies forever.
So it was that he'd chosen to drop in today, and he slowly slipped out the drivers door, heading in, nodding to the sales person, who thankfully moved to retrieve at least some of the order. Carefully though he followed, easily moving to lift the bale of hay onto his shoulder. He paused giving an apologetic shake of the head trying to gesture one handed when he'd almost walked into the other person loading their own truck up. This wasn't the full hay order, Ronin was just getting a top up before the main monthly order came in.

Steven almost walking into the other person while he had a couple of food sacks on his shoulder. Steven looked towards the mans face apologetic face followed by his hand motions. Steven smiled at the man "Don't worry man no harm done" Steven said friendly towards the man while he passes him to walk further to his own truck.
When Steven was done loading in his truck he looked around a bit and saw the man still loading in his truck. Steven walked calmly towards him before saying "Hey, Do you need some help?" Steven asked calmly towards the man. Steven wasn't new in the town but he didn't know a lot of people besides the ones of the ranch. Big chance people had heard about him though since he knew stories went around pretty quick in this town. He heard many stories about many people but he never judged anyone unless he met them in person.
Ivarr had given a nod at the reassurance that it was fine. He was slow to keep loading up his own pick up pausing as he was approached again, looking at the other male starting to sign his response before giving a slight huff as he reminded himself this wasn't Kristian, and most people wouldn't know sign language. Instead he held up one finger, moving to retrieve a pad of paper and a pen. Then he carefully wrote the response out:
I'm nearly done now, most of the forage Wildflower uses gets delivered direct, but if you want to give me a hand, just say your helping Ivarr load up
He held the pad of paper so the other could see, glancing up at him, aware that he had given away his first name, and at least part of his place of residence. He paused waiting to see what he was planning to do before he moved once more to start his own loading up work.

Steven calmly read the piece of paper and nodded towards the man. "If you load in I will get all the supplies." Steven said towards Yvarr in a friendly tone. They were somewhat neighbors so far he knew and neighbors should be helping each other. That is what Steven thought though.
Steven walked away from the man and walked into the shop and just nodded towards the clerks again big chance they would know already since Steven and Yvarr were talking right in front of the store. Steven took the rest of stuff and walked them towards the truck.
Steven calmly looked towards Yvarr. "By the way, I'm Steven." He introduced himself towards him while he handed over some supplies.

Ivarr gave an easy nod as he let the other take charge, if only as it was easier. He glanced through what he'd already loaded himself as he took the supplies off of Steven carefully placing them in the pick up. He paused running through the inventory list in his head before looking up. Carefully he wrote out his response, adjusting to hold the pad one handed so he could offer his hand to shake.
Ivarr Haurkson, pleasure to meet you Steven,
He glanced over again, trying to work out how to phrase that something was missing without coming across as ungrateful.
There should have been a saddle with the rest of my order? Ronin's managed to tear the padding out of his old one, though if you need to get off it's no matter
The last bit was added as an after thought as he held the piece of paper for the other to read carefully.

Steven took Ivarr hand when he offered it. Steven's hand was pretty firm though although that was more because he has been carrying allot in the last few minutes though. He took another look at the note when. Steven thought for a few seconds before he shook his head. "Sorry, that was everything there. there wasn't anything else anymore otherwise I would have taken it with me.'
Steven said towards him. He was quiet for a few seconds and suddenly remembered something "I have to come back here tomorrow though. If I see your saddle I will take it with me for you. Would that be okay?" Steven asked him with a small smile. He heard the ranch he worked or lived on and it was pretty close to his own ranch so it was only a small D-tour for him.

Ivarr gave a slight frown before nodding his agreement. It had taken him a bit of hesitation before he'd made his agreement, but in the same breath it would save him having to make another journey. Given though that he wasn't certain what he'd be doing when the other came to visit he glanced at him.
Let me give you my cell number, text me when your on your way? That way I can make sure the border collie doesn't try and chase your truck
And ensure that I'm actually at the house, not working with the goats, or else otherwise distracted with some of his big plans
Steven nodded towards him while he reached towards his cell phone. He calmly unlocked him for him to write his number in it so have could save it. Steven calmly handed towards him. "Don't worry about the dog. Most of them love me. The same with the horses somehow though." Steven said teasingly. It was the truth though. Most animals loved him and he had no idea why. Maybe it was some kind of special ability he had or it was like animal finds animal. Steven used to be and absolute beast on the basketball course before his accident soo maybe it came from there
Ivarr easily keyed the number in, adding in his name, and a note in brackets of {txt only} just as a reminder. Because it was somewhat awkward to get a phone call. Slowly he passed the phone back over. He'd also given a slight smile at the comment not to worry about the dog.
She instinctively wants to herd anything that moves, working dog and all
He hoped that would explain more why he'd ensure that she was at least on a lead, if not fully shut away. Just to avoid any herding incidents. Because she was never aggressive... just wanting to herd everything.
Thank you, again
he wrote easily looking up at him with a slight smile.

Steven chuckled a bit when he saw the txt only between the brackets. It was quite funny and big chance he would forget it and end up in some awkward situotion although big chance Ivarr wouldn't awnser it anyway. That is what he thought though he wasn't sure about it.
"Don't worry I make sure you get your saddle tomorrow." Steven smiled towards him. He made a simple tap on Ivarr's shoulder before he walked away towards his truck. "I see you later Ivarr. It was nice meeting you." He said while he climbed into his truck. He looked towards Ivarr one more time though before saying "If you ever need me. Just text me and I will help you out." He said while he waved towards him and took off.
