Welcome to Choteau, Montana, in 2018. What was once only a small city focused on fossils, has now started to turn into an equestrian mecca. Everyone still knows everyone, so the question remains, what will you become?

Brown hair with an obvious copperred hue might be Celeste her trademark. It is her natural haircolor, even though people rarely believe that. Her hair is semi-long and usually worn either loose or in a messy bun. She rarely smiles, looks serious and is usually busy. Combined with her last name some people think of her as distant and cold when they see her. Yet when you get the chance to look her properly in her eyes you will see concern in her bright eyes.
Celeste cares about functionality above fashionable. As long as her clothing is clean she doesn't care about a ripped border or even a patch of dirt that remains visible after washing. Being a vet she occasionally needs to change clothing, when dirt, slime or blood is transferred from an animal to her. Luckily she has multiple items of the same clothing. Comfy jeans, basic shirts. Rarely in bright colors. Outside she usually wears her long brown leather jacket and a hat, making her a sort of strange person to see.
She is of small-ish/medium build and stands 1.68 meter.
Personality
Celeste is a kind and gentle person. She is supportive, honest and openminded. She is rarely in the spotlights and rather keeps it that way. She feels best in small groups, not in large crowds. She is a bit shy, but honestly enjoys company. A gentle pat on someone's shoulder, a word of appreciation, a well meant hug. Just a few of the things that she appreciates greatly.
Celeste will never step away from responsibilities or leave a person, or animal, in need. She herself has been emotionally hurt several times. Perhaps this is why she rather stays in the background when she meets new people. Her seemingly relaxed attitude hides her insecurities. What if people think she is stupid? What if they don't want to hang out with her? At the same time she doesn't really care what others think about her, only the opinions of those close to her matter.
Animals are a really important part of her life. Not only have they shown her unconditional love, they've also taught her how to trust again. And that it is okay to be careful.
-Hates speaking in public. But doesn't mind talking to strangers when it involves animal welfare. -She doesn't really trust officials and police/military forces. -Celeste is a Flex-vegetarian. She doesn't eat meat often, but does not shy away from it either.
History
Dr. Celeste Natasha Frost is a summer child. Her parents were hippies, traveling America in a van, active in protests against animal cruelty. Until she was ten, this was her life, too. She was the only child, slightly spoiled with love and attention. During a strange string of events she got on the wrong side of the police during a protest. Her mother panicked, wanted to get to her child, but the police officers on duty thought she was threatening them and worked her to the ground. Her mother hit her head hard on the concrete and had to be rushed to a hospital. A few hectic days, and nightmare filled nights later, it was clear her mother had entered a comatose state she wouldn't be leaving soon.
Her father went mad. Sued the police and tried to get his right, but nothing brought back his beloved partner. He started drinking, and once even forgot his daughter in a store. The nurses that took care of her mother noticed something was wrong, and called in childcare. Celeste was taken away from her father and placed in a foster home. She was living now in the suburbs, with 4 other children. She missed her former life, the freedom, the travels. And she had to go to school now. Formerly homeschooled it was a bit of a culture shock.
By the time she was 14 she had been in 5 different foster homes, where she refused to adept to the new life. Her mother had died, her father had killed himself. Celeste had been beaten and starved in an attempt to get her to behave, to make her fit in. Celeste only ran away from 'home' more, only rebelled more. However, the new house proved different. The couple that had taken her in had lost their own two children in a car crash, a year earlier. Celeste got attention, and was even loved, at the farm of this couple. They had plenty of animals, too. A few dogs and cats, most were strays and rescues, a flock of sheep, chickens, a handful of cows, a few horses and a donkey.
Her life turned for the better. She started paying attention at school again, saw a purpose in life again, and, even if she wasn't the best student, her result were decent. Decently enough to be enrolled in a veterinarian study, which she finished a few years later on pure determination. She felt that this was a way to honor both her parents, and the people that had adopted her.
Celeste became an intern at vet specialized in equines. It was a large and modern facility. She had learned to ride a few years earlier and it had sparked her interest with the equines. Her second internship was at a small clinic, where every animal was welcome. It was here that she realized she didn't want to be a number in a large facility, but wanted to work at a smaller clinic, to help people and their pets with emergencies and routine check ups. She continued her path to become an allround vet, slightly specializing in horses, dogs and cats. The paper with which she promoted was about the similarities and differences between different species and breeds, and why some medical treatments had different results.
She worked as an veterinary assistant in a small clinic in the same town as the people who had taken her in when she needed it. Hearing about the options in the neighboring Choteau she decided to take her chance.
She has two pets, a cat and a dog. The cat just wandered into her former workplace with an unhealthy skincondition. They treated it, and the spots once bald now grow white hairs. His owner was never found and the cat, lovingly named Funghi, stayed with Celeste. He is very affectionate to those he knows, but stays away as far as he can from unfamiliar people.
Celeste found her dog in a shelter. Little is known about her past as she was found as a stray. Sintha is a usually a friendly and active dog, welcoming everyone that enters her terrain with a wagging tail and loud bark. She is terrified of wheelbarrows and is obsessed with water.
Images need to be added still.. Near impossible on tablet. Other than that she is finished
