Appearance
Standing within an average height range at five-six, Chapleton has the trim, toned form of a serious athlete, and the lithe, long limbs of a dancer. She carries a significant amount of muscle on her frame, weighing an impressive 131lbs while not showing it, aside from slightly broader-than-usual shoulders. Well-conditioned pectoral muscles occasionally persuade her to fore-go wearing a bra as her flesh is well enough supported on its own merit. Her skin glows with a radiant bronze hue even during winter thanks to spray tans and although she has freckles, they are usually masked by foundation. Still, her shoulders bear a few faint constellations.
An assortment of piercings adorn her body, usually fitted by silver and diamond jewelry. Both of her ears have been victims of the needle multiple times, the lobes three times a piece, and her left cartilage twice, and going back to her right ear, a small silver horseshoe rests in her tragus. Her right nostril is double pierced with and wear thin, silver bands. A glass marble the size of a pea is visible on her tongue when she opens her mouth, kept in place by a regular curved-bar. A scorpion intersects her navel and she has dermals in the dimples of her lower back, and she usually wears simple captive beads in her nipple piercings.
Chapleton's face can be distinguished from most by her prominent bone structure. The sloping planes of her cheeks connect a vogue-ish jawline to high cheekbones. The contours around her eyes are softer, the sockets in which hazel eyes sit ever so slightly more shallow than normal, giving her overall face a smoother look, and more significantly making her eyes appear larger. Above them, a pair of perfectly-sculpted, dark, bold eyebrows arch with just enough of a recognizable angle to suit the rest of her face. Faint, vertical wrinkles (the only wrinkles on her so far) are found between the inner points of her brows and more pronounced should she furrow her brows. On days when this flaw makes her self-conscious, a little extra make up does all the problem solving needed.
Personality
GENERAL: Dixie doesn't appear to have any concept of consequence and acts accordingly. Her reckless behavior often affects those around her more than the fallout ever bothers her, but that's easy when you don't feel like you have anything to lose. She's malicious in her manipulations and truly does not care who she hurts.
Some days she decides that she is what she is and let's the world see the real her, no matter what mood she's in which can fluctuate between downright chipper and literally not being able to get herself out of bed. Other days, she puts on a persona. With her background in theater classes, it's not hard for her to put up a guise to hide behind.
LIKES: drinking (whiskey sours in particular, loves top shelf tequila), taking body shots off of the hottest human in the club, black coffee, high HIGH heels, drama, dogs, bartending (will do it in her spare time if the club lets her, or if they don't keep a close enough eye on her), pedicures, and styling hair.
DISLIKES: Birds, hampsters/guinea pigs etc, camping (just, no), bad tippers, creepy bosses, waitressing, driving in the city, candles, boating, live plays and operas, true intimacy, glitter (but loves rhinestones), and Pleather.
History
All three of the Chapleton children had rich, colorful upbringings. Their parents were fans of The Arts, particularly performance arts. They were all enrolled in extracurricular programs from an early age. By age four, Dixie was involved in ballet, theater, piano, and gymnastics, though as she got older, they narrowed her focus to what she excelled in: ballet and gymnastics. Her sister, Cressida, was the actress and her brother, Sebastian, had been aptly named, for he was a natural musician.
By the time she graduated high school, Dixie was a highly skilled classical dancer and a level 10 gymnast. Naturally, the next step was college and she was accepted to the same school her older siblings were attending. The first three semesters were the highlight of her life as she flourished, but early in the spring semester of her sophomore year, Cressida took her own life.
Dixie was blindsided and could not understand why, until one night, during a drunken rant, Sebastian cleared it up for her... Cressida was too good of an actress. She suffered for years under the pressure from their parents without ever showing it. He understood, because he felt it too. He just had his own method for coping.
This revelation made Dixie reevaluate her life up to that point and she started to fall behind in school as guilt and rage began to fester in her heart. How could she not see what her sister was going through? How could her parents not see? The drop in her grades scared her, but she rejected her parents' offer of private tutors, sickened at the thought of them prioritizing her education over her emotional health.
She went to Sebastian instead, who at first shut her out, but eventually relented and shared his secret with her. He gave her a few amphetamines and sent her on her way, not comprehending the path he'd just unrolled at her feet.
The following years were turbulent at best. After becoming fulling drug dependent, she engaged her parents in an ugly confrontation before both sides cut off all communication with the other. She started dancing at a gentleman's club in order to pay for school, which she continued until the final semester of her senior year when she threw in the towel. Her grades had just barely been afloat for a long time and it looked like they were finally going to sink below passing, so she decided to cut her losses.
