Welcome to Choteau, Montana, in 2018. What was once only a small city focused on fossils, has now started to turn into an equestrian mecca. Everyone still knows everyone, so the question remains, what will you become?

Deciding he deserved a little bit of time to himself, Matthew found himself at the bar with a beer in hand, watching everyone else as they two-stepped across the makeshift dance floor, played pool and whatever else they could do to feel good about thmselves. It was fun, sure. Some people drank too much, others acted like they did to get away with ridiculous behavior. Matthew, on the other hand, simply watched from afar and enjoyed his beer. He didn't drink much and he never got drunk. His past prevented him from doing that. He needed to stay sober for his sister and not become the monster their father had been.
[attr="class","box2"]Elianna didn't usually get a night to herself. Aurora was almost always attached to her hip, unless she was in school. And that was when most of Ellie's work got done. Whether it was house work or actual work. But tonight, Ellianna had gotten a babysitter, just to have a night to herself. Which is how she found herself at the bar.
The bar hadn't been her first choice, but it was too snowy to go riding. And too cold to hang out at the park. The coffee shop just didn't seem like a good evening adventure, so the bar it was. She glanced around, taking in the sights. There were people dancing on the dance floor, others were drinking at the bar. She noticed a few familiar faces, but most seem preoccupied with each other. Except for one person, who appeared to be drinking alone. Elianna wasn't generally one to be in these types of social situations, so she quickly fled to his side, happy for the familiarity. "I'm gonna need one of those," she gestured to his beer, smiling up at him. This certainly wasn't her crowd. She could already feel her anxiety kicking in, but she kept herself composed. The waitress came around, and Elianna ordered herself a beer. Craft, not just some light beer everyone drinks. "Why are you being Mr. Lonely over here? Rather than be out on the dance floor with a pretty girl?" she teased.
