Welcome to Choteau, Montana, in 2018. What was once only a small city focused on fossils, has now started to turn into an equestrian mecca. Everyone still knows everyone, so the question remains, what will you become?

[attr="class","box2"]Cheyenne rolled her eyes and set her phone down. He better have the hot chocolate ready when she showed up to his apartment. She bundled up in her coat, hat, gloves and a scarf. She wasn't going to be cold today. Cheyenne headed out to her car, and started it. She walked back into her warm apartment and waited for the car to warm up. About fifteen minutes later, she headed out to the car again. She climbed in and drove over to Steven's apartment.
Cheyenne shivered. Why she had decided to walk out in the snow to see a guy was beyond her. The walk from her car to the door had been freezing. She knocked on the door. If he didn't open the door with the hot chocolate in his hand, she wasn't going to be happy. Or at least ready in his apartment. It needed to be warm, though. This damn snowstorm was terrible. The drive over had been vicious, but her little car had made it quite well. For some reason, the vehicle could plow through snow like it was nothing.
Steven would calmly lay his phone down when he got the last text of her coming his way. Steven. He walked calmly towards the kitchen. He had made a cup a few minutes ago and knew he had made enough for a few other cups though. He calmly warmed up the chocolate again adding some extra chocolate and caramel to it. Ones it was warm he calmly threw some mini marshmallows in them and topped it off with some whipped cream.
A few seconds later Steven heard some knocking on the door. "It's open." Steven said hard enough to be heard outside. He wasn't sure if it was Chey but Steven was someone that lets almost everyone into his home especially during a snowstorm.
[attr="class","box2"]Cheyenne walked into the house like she owned it. She should have known that Steven would let anyone in. She took her shoes off at the door, but left her coat on, trying to stay warm. She'd probably have to steal a blanket from Steven. Especially if they were going to watch movies. But then, there was always the chance that she'd fall asleep while all comfy. She'd have to take the risk. As long as she didn't drool, she'd be fine.
"Ooh, hot chocolate!" she said, heading towards the kitchen where Steven was. She wasn't sure if a cup was for her, but she grabbed one anyways. He knew she was headed over, so it was probably for her. Or anyone who walked through the door. She held the cup closer to her body to stay warm. "So, what's on your mind?" she asked, leaning against the counter. She wasn't even sure what was on her mind, other than the fact that she was cold. The damn snow. In May, for God's sake. It was supposed to be sunny, and warm outside. April showers bring May flowers and all that. There weren't going to be any flowers at this rate. Hopefully June will bring warmer weather. But living in Montana...she never knew what could happen. Weather here was freaky as it was.
All of the shows were being held inside due to the freak weather. She hadn't decided if she was going to enter any of them or not. Barrel racing would be a good one. Speaking of which, she probably should have checked on her horse before coming into the apartment. It wasn't like he was very far away. He was just in the stalls at the ranch they were on. Steven had to take care of him, too. It amused her that he was the one helping to take care of her horse. She wasn't even sure if he realized it or not.
Steven nodded towards her when she took the hot chocolate. He was a bit surprised though that she was still wearing her coat. His house was warm enough for him to walk around in his old Basketball team shirt. Somehow he still fitted it but that was because he got it a few sizes bigger so he could grow into it. His sweatpants that were cut off around halfway his lower leg kept his legs warm enough while he just walked on his bare feet. Steven never really cared how he looked when he was around the house and it was pretty much noticeable at this moment. He just wanted to be comfy and nothing else when he was at home.
When she asked what was on his mind he thought for a few seconds before answering. "I am wondering if the hot chocolate is good and what kind of movie or series we should watch." Steven said friendly towards her. He looked calmly towards her. "What is on your mind?" Steven asked her while he started to sit on the counter with a simple push up from his arms shoving his butt onto the counter.
[attr="class","box2"]Cheyenne was almost always cold. Even if it was 60-70 degrees. She needed it to be in the 80s for her to stay warm. And according to this weather, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. So, wearing her coat indoors was a must. At least until she got a blanket, or something. She looked up and down at Steven's attire, sipping on her hot chocolate. Well, at least he looked comfortable. Underneath her coat, she was wearing her favorite hoodie and jeans with leggings underneath. It was comfortable to her, and she still looked halfway decent. Cheyenne took another sip of her hot chocolate, and decided it was probably time to take off her coat. She set the drink down, and slipped her coat off. She set it over a chair in the kitchen, not sure where else to put it. She picked her drink back up and turned towards Steven again.
"The hot chocolate is delicious. And warm," she said, bringing the drink closer to her body. "My vote is for either something scary, or a romantic comedy." Either one would be good for her. She could also binge watch a series with him, but she wasn't sure what she was up for tv-wise. "As for what's on my mind, is that I'm cold," she said, smiling up at him. She headed to the couch in front of the tv and curled up in one corner, still holding her hot chocolate. Cheyenne wasn't sure what Steven's rules were about having drinks in the living room, but she didn't care. "Do you have a blanket or two?" she asked.
Steven smiled at her. "I have more then enough blankets for you and if you are still cold you can crawl against me." Steven said a bit joking. He really had no idea if she was seeing someone or not although Steven was Steven and there wasn't much stopping him from him flirting here and there with everyone.
Steven started walking towards the couch he was sitting on earlier. On the tv was Netflix still open at his favorites. There were some horror and detective series on his watch list. He calmly reached behind the couch and took some folded up blankets up from behind. "Well come here I will wrap you up like a burrito." Steven smiled towards her. He would wrap her up though in a blanket burrito without any problem although the downside to that would be that she couldn't use her arms anymore. On the otherside it would look funny to him.
