So I -may- have been watching a bit too much Rent recently (never a bad thing!) Either way it sparked off an idea I've had in my mind a bit for a group of people, some maybe friends already, others are just acquaintances within the same apartment block, none of them are particularly wealthy, all of them however they all end up supporting each other, with work problems, and fighting against the gentrification of the area they live in.
The character I'm proposing to play a journalist in his late 30s, with pale red hair the he keeps short, and bold features. While he's not particularly a fan of geeks, he does occasionally have a weakness for wealth but more importantly are his friends. He does have a cat, and rooms with his boyfriend in the apartment block.
So open roles are wide and varied, be as creative as you want - there should be at least another 6 individuals, possibly 8 - with one of them also rooming with my character and his boyfriend (who's open to be played with whatever type of lifestyle etc!).
Equally there's the option to play the landlord if someone wants to play a character who's likely not going to be popular among the tenants. The reason I'm posting this without having the character up first is I want to see if anyone else would be interested in biting with me!
